SUMMARY OF POSITION
Under the Direction of the College of Southern Idaho (CSI) Associate Dean of Extended Studies, Transition Coordinators work primarily in high schools to help students define their education and career aspirations, while providing resources for the transition process from high school to college. Transition Coordinators advocate the value of a post-secondary education, including workforce training and apprenticeships, to help students achieve individual education goals.
Transition Coordinators will identify student populations in consultation with high school and College officials, develop and implement services to address student needs, and serve as career pathway specialists.
