SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Director of Human Resources (HR) is directly responsible for overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the Human Resources function in alignment with the mission of the College. The HR Department develops policy and directs and coordinates human resources activities, such as employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, training, wellness and employee services. The Director of HR must have high personal and professional integrity to deal with a variety of confidential and sensitive issues. The ability to effectively communicate is a critical component for the success of the position.

Summary of Position
To provide case management services to arriving refugees; makes accurate assessment of refugee needs, make appropriate referrals to services and assistance designed to meet those needs, and follow up to ensure services and assistance have been provided in a manner that promotes progress towards self-sufficiency. Maintains cash assistance program.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Orients refugees to new life in America.
2. Provides case management services in coordination with other staff.
3. Implements cash assistance program and coordinates with IOR/Boise.
4. Ensures availability of bilingual assistants for facilitating communication at both the refugee center and other service appointments.
