The College of Southern Idaho is a comprehensive, community college with a current enrollment of approximately 9,000 students for its fall and spring semesters. In addition to our 300-acre residential campus in Twin Falls, we have three off-campus centers in Burley, Hailey, and Gooding. CSI’s student government is actively involved in college decision-making and offers students great leadership opportunities. We offer 53 AA or AS majors and a total of 83 professional technical certificate or AAS program options. CSI students have more than 25 options for transfer into four-year programs available on campus through partnerships with the University of Idaho, Boise State University, and Idaho State University. CSI is centrally located in southern Idaho’s Magic Valley, an eight-county area with a combined population of approximately 150,000. Agriculture, dairy, and cattle production are economic mainstays along with a significant number of ag-related industries. Twin Falls, with a population of approximately 45,000, swells each weekday to more than 60,000 as it becomes the retail and service hub of this region. Our four-season climate, high desert and nearby mountain terrains offer year around outdoor recreation opportunities. Chobani recently chose Twin Falls as the home for its primary Greek yogurt production facility, the largest in the world.
The Annual Security Report includes statistics for at least the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on-campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by CSI; on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies concerning sexual assault, and other matters. You may obtain a copy of this report online at http://www.csi.edu/security/#jeanne by contacting the CSI Security Office at 732-6605.
